An apprentice

It is well known that an apprenticeship is a great way to kick start your career, and with QinetiQ the opportunities are endless. With over 35 locations across the UK, it is an extremely exciting time to join us.

Boasting more prospects and facilities than ever before, we are excited to recruit the most talented and enthusiastic young people to become key parts of our business. Our past apprentices are proof of our schemes' success, with many going on to become senior technical experts, leading or advising on ground-breaking projects across Air, Land and Maritime.

To find out more and to read our Apprenticeship profiles, see our Apprenticeships page.

Community investment is very important to QinetiQ, and we are committed to being a good neighbour in the communities in which we operate. One way in which our people contribute to this is by volunteering their time and professional skills, such as via the UK Employee Volunteering Programme. Whether you're joining us as an apprentice, graduate or experienced hire, everyone has the opportunity to apply for a volunteering day to give something back to the communities where our people live and work.

Our flagship initiative is our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) outreach programme with the aim of inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers. There are a number of ways you can get involved. See our Outreach page for more information and to read our profiles.

IPD Scheme

IPD Scheme

The IPD scheme is accredited by the IET, IMA, IMechE, IoP, RAeS, RINA and RSC.
